David has over 30 years experience and is a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
David has worked with numerous nonprofit (including clergy and churches) and for-profit organizations during his accounting career.
David is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Carris Health and presides on the Board of Directors of Centracare Health as well as serving on their executive and audit committees. He previously served as Chairman of Rice Hospital for 6 years, Board of Directors of Luther Theological Seminary in St. Paul and Green Lake Lutheran Ministries. He has also served on the executive committees and as treasurer for the Southwestern MN Synod (for 8 years) and the Shelter House, served on the board of the Minnesota Association of Public Accountants, the Willmar Community Foundation board, Vinje Lutheran Church Executive Committee, and the Willmar Noon Kiwanis.
